A district on the coast continues on in spite of everything. 

Unnatural phenomena seeps into the region every now and then, but the will of humanity has always stood triumphant in the end. 

However, a recent string of reports foretell of something ancient;

"A strangeness that'll eclipse all others."

But that's just another case.

DELIRESCENT is a typing-based RPG inspired by panstasz' WORLD OF HORROR and text-based games. Authorised with weapons, curios and artifacts; you and your commission will resolve cases of unnatural civil phenomena and hold out within the faltering existence. 

Until you must face the source of DELIRIUM.

FAQ:

Q: Why are there red squares on my screen

A: Debug mode. Press your '+' key to toggle it.

Q: Game is lagging

A: Turn on 'Use graphics acceleration when available' if you're running a Chromium-based browser. If you're not then I don't know. Sorry.

Q: Running locally?

A: Just download and run index.html. You don't have to open a localhost.

Q: Missing audio for itch browser demo?

A: Refresh the page. There should be 23 audio instances loaded during initialization. Working on a fix but first-time page loading is kind of janky and inconsistent to replicate.
